She has led her robotics club to success and developed Ixtlilton, a prize-winning AI-powered virtual medical assistant that can currently diagnose 21 diseases based on a series of questions. 🚨 BREAKING NEWS — 18-year-old Adarsh Kumar from Bihar, India, has just been named the winner of the $100,000 Chegg.org Global Student Prize 2025 🏆! Launched in 2021 by the Varkey Foundation in partnership Chegg.org, the Prize shines a spotlight on extraordinary students reshaping the world. This year, Adarsh was chosen from 11,000 applications and nominations across 148 countries. Adarsh’s journey is nothing short of extraordinary. Raised by a single mother and growing up without stable electricity or internet, his life changed when she spent her life savings on a laptop. With it, he taught himself coding and entrepreneurship, and at just 14 left home with 1,000 rupees to chase his education. From there, he built Skillzo, a platform that has empowered 20,000+ underserved students in India with mentorship, training, and opportunities. His work has also delivered healthcare access, distributed menstrual health products, planted thousands of trees, and even helped open a school. On the global stage, Adarsh is the youngest Google Youth Advisor, shaping global tech policy. He has also raised $36,000+ for student-led projects and engaged 1,500+ young people in governance across Bihar. Today in London, he was congratulated by Sunny Varkey, Founder & Chairman of the Varkey Foundation, and Nathan Schultz, Chegg CEO, as he received his $100,000 award.
