When you visit the Morning Star American Indian Village in 2026, you will be invited to walk the Red Road.
Encircling the Dance Arbor, the Red Road is more than a path. It represents a spiritual journey of integrity, balance, and living in harmony with nature.
Along the way, you will experience:
• Educational signage sharing the meaning behind the Red Road and the significance of the dances performed in the arbor
• An eight-panel historic photo display featuring the Sioux Dancers at the 1938 CFD Rodeo along the fence facing the CFD Old West Museum
• An herb garden featuring native plants used for medicine, food, and everyday life
