From passion to Pomarosa ā¤ļø
Luis started out in Venezuela, working in kitchens for free just to hone his craft. In 2017, he brought that passion to Toronto opening Pomarosa, with a goal of sharing a piece of home.
What began as a quick service coffee stop is now a neighbourhood favourite restaurant, known for arepas, empanadas, and delicious coffee.
Day in the life with Luis Hernandez means starting with a dream and showing up for it every single day. šØāš³
From his early days working in kitchens in Venezuela to moving to Canada and studying culinary arts at George Brown, Luis has always been building toward something bigger.
Today, heās the owner and operator of @pomarosa_to , bringing Venezuelan flavours to Toronto with every arepa, coffee, and plate that comes out of the kitchen. š»šŖāļø
