Barros won the Food Network competitionās āEggscuse Meā episode, which aired on Tuesday, April 14, and was hosted by Ted Allen. He beat out three competing chefs across appetizer, entrĆ©e, and dessert rounds to claim the $10,000 prize.
With the win, Barros becomes just the fifth chef from the city to take the Chopped title, joining names like Giorgio Rapicavoli and Robyn Almodovar. Itās a milestone that speaks to the cityās evolution as a culinary powerhouse filled with talent.
