This work is challenging, sacrificial, frustrating and exhausting. When covers aren’t where I want them to be and creatively feel like I have nothing left. I wonder am I really meant to do this? Does my work even matter? Then I look at my little restaurant and each of my tables is a regular. I go and run food and give hugs and tastings and I hear how this place is their favorite. That they come the same time every week and every month for Sunday Supper it truly means something.
