@sophies_bbq is located just minutes away from Philadelphia just outside the city in Delco in Havertown PA.
Executive Chef and Owner Greg Herman is firing up the best Southern comfort food and BBQ I have ever had. I don’t love to drive and I’ve already pulled up five times this year! 😭
🍖 Chef is firing up coffee rubbed 12 hour smoked black angus brisket; Memphis style dry rub chicken; St. Louis Ribs with in-house pork rub set overnight and smoked for five hours; pork belly burnt ends from whole smoked pork belly smoked 3/4 through, cut into cubes, reseasoned, sauced and smoked for two more hours to make perfect meat candies - crispy on outside and tender in the middle.
And of course the Best of Main Line Pulled Pork BBQ sandwiches! 😍
Chef uses and focuses on local fruit woods in his outdoor full sized traditional reverse flow smoker, with Black Cherry Wood, Apple Wood, Peach Wood, plus Hickory, Maple, etc. but the fruit woods are unique to his mix.
🍸 Drinks are made by Four Birds Distillery including this amazing espresso martini plus Chocolate Banana Old Fashioned, Pennsylvania Mule, Porch Rocker and a ton of mocktails too.
