Brace yourselves you wide-eyed weekend warriors, @origin8aandpropa and @chefftheboy have taken a brief hiatus from cigarettes and squabbling to deliver 100% Hardcore, a single so potent you should start with a half and see how you feel. Straight out the gate with loose-as-you-like ‘em rolling drums and the kind of kicks that’ll knock you to your knees, the track dives head-first into the old-school sound we know and love before frantic stabs induce a state of pure mania. Then, clouds part and a euphoric breakdown sweeps in - fresher than the last menthol you begged in the smokers - lifting you skyward before dragging you back into the dance. Like the stubborn love child of Fantazia and Dreamscape, raised on white labels and Mitzi Turbos, this one’ll have you gritting your teeth in front of the stacks. In the early hours of a midwinter morning, a skin-headed selector burst into the Hardcore Energy Headquarters, armed with nothing but a 20 deck of B&H Blue, a black vest, his passport and USB, babbling tales of new-age rave, dingy clubs and hedonism. Whilst many of his mutterings remain indecipherable, his offering was clear… EUROTRASH. Cheff The Boy returns to the label with 2 tracks of aural obnoxiousness, blurring the lines between hard house and hardcore. The first track, Werkout, comes filthy, fast and full of attitude. Four-to-the-floor kicks, razor-edged, growling bass and the kind of vocal that’ll make you sweat. A real driver, guaranteed to rile a rave into a frenzy. On the flip side, there’s Whistleblower; hard house in sentiment but rooted confidently in the 160 realm. A full-blown acidic assault – one that singes your eyebrows and leaves you grinning. Whether you get your kicks from hardcore, acid, jungle techno or hard house, this one’ll certainly tickle ya pickle. Whistles at the ready? Doves tucked neatly away in ya shoe? Then let’s be having you!

AAGGGGHHHHHH!!!! Not much I can say that would encapsulate last month’s antics- apart from bladdy heck I’m knackered. On a real one though, November was mad. So here’s a non-chronological mish mash of debauchery. Been up and down the country and played some of the best shows of my life. Feeling proper grateful.
