What started as a practical way to preserve meat before refrigeration eventually evolved into a craft, especially in France, where charcutiers became known for cured and prepared meats. Over time, cheese courses, rustic shared meals, and appetizer culture helped shape what we now know as the charcuterie spread.
Today, it is less about survival and more about experience — a beautiful mix of meats, cheeses, fruit, nuts, bread, and condiments designed to gather people around the table.
Food history like this is one of my favorite reminders that presentation always has a past.

So This Trip Was Planned Prior to a Very Heavy Break down I had … I had decided to officially throw in the towel… I kept asking God .. Why Do You Keep Making Me Your Strongest Solider … Haven’t I endured Enough? Haven’t I proven I can pull through these tests ? Yet I keep getting Closed doors !

Then …Those cries I held in for years being so strong and not making the time to release poured out & I had a few listening ears ! Ones who poured into me & reminded me that he keeps me here with purpose !

So this pre set trip was a refresh … Even tho I wasn’t feeling my best the last two days … It helped me regroup , realign , get out of my head and breathe !

Sometimes we have to reprogram and decompose ! That’s the only way to realign and start fresh !

We have to unlearn and access ! This is what I needed & I am so glad I chose me over the grind for a few days !

I don’t usually speak about my dating life..stopped that a while ago.. esp after so many randoms had an opinion on MY LIFE but after a message I received, followed up by a call, I felt the need to address this, and this will be the last time I speak on it this way.
No disrespect to anyone, but let me be clear with love and clarity:
Please don’t call me to give me relationship advice. It’s not anyone’s place to ask me why I’m not married, why do I have no kids, why am I still single or ask questions like “what are you waiting for?” That’s out of bounds. Let’s move with wisdom and respect.
My life has been in the public eye since I became a chef, started locking in clients people admire & since I’ve been on the screens and on the scene. Because of that, I’ve chosen to learn the value of having a great relationship—something that isn’t constantly under a microscope. I have every right to date… and to date with discretion. Esp when you’ve dated & unbeknownst to you they didn’t want you to win if they aren’t winning on the same level or if they are only with you for your connections. So now I move with ease and discretion. No one is going to make me show them off for views. Those who know, KNOW!
Not secrecy… there’s a difference.
I’m not hiding anyone. I’m protecting the process. And when you’ve experienced moments where the process gets interrupted continuously, you learn to slow down, be intentional, and make sure you’re not repeating cycles but actually growing. No one is going to make me move fast because they caught feelings faster. Pressure doesn’t work for me anymore ! It’s actually now a slow leak and hault button for me.
When you lead at this level, you’re not just “dating”… you’re stewarding influence. And it’s not just about who you date, it’s about how you date.
Everybody doesn’t need access to every stage.
Some things are private because they’re still being processed, prayed through, and built. And when you’re dealing with maturity on both sides, there’s an understanding that timing, trust, and alignment matter. You choose what to share, when to share it, and who to share it with.
That’s not deception, that’s wisdom.
