I did not imagine my weekend would be looking this cute 😭 for context, I got SO sick and had a nonfundable trip to Vegas planned. When I tell you I locked in, I slept & rested, and I kicked that shit to the curb so fast. Thank the lord, because I could not imagine I’d be leaving that trip ENGAGED!! Booli deserves an award for being so slick, because I truly had no idea, and I’m the nosiest person you’ll ever meet. Right when we got to the fountain and the show started, I WAS JOKING, and I said “omg, who’s proposing 🤭” and Booli says “it’s me, I’m proposing.” I really thought they were kidding. But Booli does not play like that, and joking they definitely were not. Ofc being unserious all the time caused me to segue my own proposal. Lmao. I’m still so shocked and obsessed and don’t know what to say. I’ll really try not to be annoying but omg, we’re engaged!! 🥹🥹✨✨✨✨
I swear I was 9 waiting monthly for my subscription to @bonappetitmag 🥹 I am still in disbelief that this is a real moment! I am beyond proud, thankful and sincerely crying this morning so very thankful to your time and you both reaching out to me! @r_a_y_u_y_e_d_a and @just_islemcelroy y’all really made this boi very happy to be alongside some other amazing talents! And obviously a couple of my favorite spaces. I thank @carlamacar for this cute ass pic! Fuck I cry! @celladiggshair and I loved our night with @queersoupnight we were so thankful to be surrounded by so many amazingly talented queers of the Bay Area last Sunday. Thank you @sip.alkalirye@amyjin7 and the rest of the gang that curated this event ! We were so beyond thankful to be asked to come back. @chefpapixulo@panteranegra.oakland looked so cute serving their sopitas and I couldn’t be more proud to serve alongside them. Sometimes with events they come and go and I just wanted to express to everyone how lovely it is to collaborate, especially for a good cause ❤️ this event felt so cute and welcoming. It’s so wild how much prep, time and love goes into an event like this ❤️ we raised funds for @gayfieri_official and their essential community space there/there which I know all the queers can’t wait to open! Loving @celladiggshair daily means the world to me and I am so thankful to have an amazing fiancé like her ❤️ she’s truly the most talented, funny and humbled human I’ve met. She takes pride in our house and always makes sure to surround us with love. I try my best to take care of her by making meals and giving her hugs and kisses. We spent the day in Saulsalito on Sunday and we had the best cheap burgers by the water. We walked around afterward and found where we wana eat our anniversary dinner. It’s the little things and sometimes just remembering to love each other right now makes both of our days better. Even if the days bad we always make sure to have a meal together at the end of the day. I miss her when we’re apart! All I ever wanted was to feel loved and she does that everyday. I had to change out of this jumpsuit before we went out again because the zipper was so outrageous I couldn’t go to the bathroom by myself!

It’s gonna be crazy so I highly suggest you preorder your bread! The window has been extended to 8:45am right before the market so you can order in the AM and come by anytime and skip the line if you’re just getting bread and cookies. After this Saturday we’ll go back to one booth for bread and cookies at Grand Lake FM.
Thank you so much Chef Booli for all your contributions to the bakery. I’ll really miss working with them it’s hard to find someone that matches my hustle lol. They’re on to bigger and better things 💕 I’m so proud of them for finding something with better work life balance and so proud of us for cooking for you every Saturday. WE DID THAT!! We drew a crowd, gained a following, and most importantly made thousands of people very full and very happy with our creations ✨
Saturday Brunch has been so much fun and way too much work. I’m so proud of all the iterations of brunch over the past year and 1 month. Mad respect to the hot food vendors that come out every weekend and please keep coming to support them 💖

LAST BRUNCH!!!! Alert!!!! @basecamp.bakery and I are serving ONE LAST BRUNCH TOMORROW MORNING!! I got ELOTE AVO TOAST!!!!! and chamoy lemon limeade as specials!!! And the last of the goods on the shelf. I’m sorry it’s last minute post y’all can blame me for that 😭 I’m moving on yall!! DONT GET IT TWISTED Base Camp is still going to be baking strong!!! Just without me ❤️🫡 I’ll be moving on next week to my new job. I am stepping out of the Pop up life, and away for at least for a year of being head chef and as my main source of income. I’m so grateful to Lorena for taking me under their wing for over a year now. It went from slanging bread to helping shape through building the menu every damn week!!! Im always proud of the menus and how much heart goes into the small business life. This is such a small big life. TBH the drive from Richmond to the kitchen in San Mateo became too great for me. I couldn’t do the task at hand anymore and I’m WHOOPED. Took up an opportunity and I think it’ll be good. I was just not able to keep a commute life and a home life together and that’s okay. ❤️ I get to work close to home, spend nights with my lovely baby @celladiggshair and tend to our beautiful home. I think we’re in our nesting era 😂 I’m personally so thankful for the last year because I’ve made new friends and learned another thing!!!! The sandwiches will definitely sandwich again and I don’t know when or how but I can just feel it. 🫡🫡🫡 I love y’all come to brunch tomorrow !!!!
