Reflective and inspirational Wednesday: What a meaningful Wednesday: a reflective power meeting that echoed our journey through tough times and how we’ve learned to steer through them. A fitting way to begin the day. I think it needs to be heard @freedomskitchin_consulting from the roots and we have to celebrate it through a dish, BUTTERNUT

Durban’s curry is more than a staple, it’s a defining taste of the city, and a recent tasting @freshfoodwith2ladu_ at the iconic Moses Mabhida Stadium helps illustrate why. She elevates classic curry with thoughtful technique and quality ingredients, offering sauces that are balanced and spices that are layered rather than overwhelming. The experience is both warm and precise, highlighting how Durban’s culinary scene blends heritage with new influences and lets flavour tell the story that has soul and that’s Borderless cuisine. The team from Unilever and I had taste, are you coming ?

Today we’re shining a light on amajita who represents an important part of the agricultural value chain, the chefs ! On this feature we have Chef Absa @chefabsa , Chef Scott @chefscott_ , Chef Kelly @chef_kelly__ as we all as Chef Somdaka @andile_chef_somdaka Chefs plays a huge role in the agricultural chain as they remind us that agriculture doesn’t stop at harvest. It continues in the kitchen, where fresh produce is transformed into meals that bring people together. They remind us that each ingredient has a story, and every dish is a reflection of the farmers behind it because without farmers, there’s no food and without chefs, there’s no experience. If you had to sit down with one of them , who are you choosing 🔥😁Let’s hear it in the comments ❤️ #fyp #viral #trending #chef #farmer

Chipotle-Smoked Cauli Head: The Fun Spin Start with a quick, punchy smoke to tease the flavour, then hit it with a blistering high-heat char for that irresistible, crispy personality. You get a plant-powered side or snack that’s got a gentle kick, savory pepper sweetness, and a satisfying crunch. Dress it up as street-food couture or borderless cuisine, whichever vibe you’re craving . . . . . . #futuremenus2026 #streetfoodcouture #bordelesscuisine #welovewhatwedo #wedowhatwelove @unileverfoodsolutions_sa

I am Just A Farmboy With A Dream❤️❤️❤️ As the Sun dipped behind foggy Mountains, leaving s shy red spark up in the sky ,smoked curled gently from a tired old roudavel 🛖- it's rusty grass whispers stories of time. Inside a warmth lived on floors smoothed with cow's dung ,where we sat close together on Isikhumbu Sembuzi, hands wrapped around a tin cups of tea- sweetened not by sugar alone ,but by burnt caramel stirred from spoon kissed by fire . Coffee was a dream ,but we made magic anyway. Around the growing red ash our Grandmother's voice carried love ,laughter , and memory-telling us how she won our grandfather's heart. And there , beneath her stories ,slowly resting in the ashes of Amalongwe(cow's dry dung) or Umpusheni( coal particles mixed with clay dried up in the sun) cooked something sacred. We call it Izambane lomphosho( slowly fire roasted potato). It was never just a potato, it was Warmth, It was Home , It was Love you could taste" #diningwithyourruralchef #TheChefEndulo #southafricanfoodgastronomy #FoodInnovation
