I was away in Canada when I made this, land locked in the 30 degree heat and missing the Irish Sea badly. Happy March xo Croagh Patrick from the calendar with @irishdesignshop . I had a few family holidays out to Westport as a kid and seeing this thing appear in the distance has always been something that stuck with me. I’ve climbed it three times in my life and am hoping I’ll get back to it soon ☘️

Happy February xo this one is from the calendar with @irishdesignshop celebrating St Brigid, Imbolc, and making crosses with pals. (These are now sold out but they have some prints and totes)The bird here on the wall is a black cormorant which, at the time of drawing, I had just listened to a @blindboyboatclub podcast about. It was to do with the bird being thought of as a cailleach and being a sign of a change in the weather at the start of Spring.
