Matcha vs Coffee: Which is better for energy, digestion, skin, and teeth?
Both drinks give you a boost but the way they affect your body is completely different
Caffeine: Matcha has ~70–100mg that releases slowly for calm focus.
Coffee has 95–130mg that spikes fast jitters + crashes.
Digestion: Matcha is low-acid and gentle on your stomach.
Coffee is high acid and often causes bloating or irritation.
Skin & Health: Matcha is loaded with EGCG antioxidants (great for glowing skin + immunity).
Coffee has antioxidants too, but not as powerful.
Performance: Matcha boosts metabolism + steady energy for workouts. Coffee can burn fat but often leaves you shaky.
Teeth & Breath: Matcha won’t stain your teeth or give you “coffee breath.”
Coffee’s acidity weakens enamel, yellows teeth, and leaves an odor.
Bottom line: Coffee = quick jolt + crash.
Matcha = calm, steady, glowy energy.
