Cheech here- massive grateful thank you to all involved in holding this space: Blakey, Alli, Colten, Jacob, Katie, Josh, Everyone at DWAVE, & all of our new friends who came out to build community!
This idea was a year in the making for me, & I'm glad to finally execute & do so at my home bar. There is very little disability representation in the industry, very little resources, options, discourse, and even less opportunity. When we build bar systems, programs, policies, & physical spaces that aim to accomodate everyone, we all have a better chance of winning.
Everytime we decide to learn about a culture & language different than ours, we honor ourselves & our neighbors. 🤟🏼
& TRUE BIZ- Any team learning ASL (from Deaf teachers) to use during service benefits more than just the potential of serving signing guests.. but thats a whole TED Talk. 🫢

Yo tengo TANTAS cosas increíble que decir sobre Guadalajara. La semana pasada, tuve muchísimo suerte por la oportunidad de visitar Hacienda Patrón en Altotonilco El Alto, Jalisco, México. Fue mi primera vez en una otra paíz, y solo estuve allá por un día. Cada minuto tenía valor para mi. Todavía me toy recuperando despues a volver. 😅
La gente del Casona era generosa, divertida, paciente, hábil, y hermosa. Aprendí muchísimo sobre agave, tequila, Patrón, español, hospitalidad, mí mismo. Todos los agradecimientos del mundo a todos ustedes.

We teamed up with Cheech (@cheechmakesdrinks ) at Palm Valley Cocktails to make this Four Peel Gin banger The Green Thumb 🌱
It uses Four Peel Gin for refreshing citrus notes, Japanese Midori Liqueuer for a sweet melon taste and a house herbal syrup that uses dill, mint and basil. Garnished with a lemon peel cut like a flower, this bright green cocktail is incredible!!
Cheech crushed it on this one! 👊🔥
