One of the best things you can do is make it real and FUN!!!
Next time you’re at a restaurant, have them:
* compare prices
* round numbers
* figure out totals
* calculate tip amount
* even break food into fractions
It doesn’t have to feel like “school” to be learning.
I tried this out at Cheddar’s and it’s such an easy way to sneak in real-life math. Plus, let’s look at the value equation. I got a night off from cooking and have enough leftovers for a second meal, all for only $62!
