This week, CHCI celebrated the newest additions to our alumni family, 22 members of the 2025–2026 Postgraduate and Public Policy Fellowship programs, as they completed their fellowships. The evening featured opening remarks from members of Congress and special guests, who spoke about community, identity, and leadership. The room was full of energy and optimism for what lies ahead.
Thank you to our Chair Rep. Darren Soto and Members of our Board, Sponsors, and community leaders who attended to support this event. Congratulations to these outstanding leaders!

This past February, CHCI President and CEO Marco A. Davis joined a delegation organized by the Hispanic Heritage Foundation (HHF) for a three-day visit to Minneapolis, where they witnessed, listened, and learned from local organizations and community members working to protect and mobilize Latino and immigrant families.
CHCI was proud to stand alongside leaders from other organizations including Catholic Charities of the Rio Grande Valley (RGV), Frontline Dignity, Global Refuge, the National Hispanic Caucus of State Legislatures, the National Hispanic Media Coalition, the National Urban League, The Resurrection Project, TMC Community Capital, and UnidosUS.
From community dialogues and site visits to moments of service and prayer, this delegation came together with one shared purpose: showing up for the Latino community when it matters most. This is the kind of work that moves us forward together. Watch the full video at the link in our bio.

Last month, CHCI President and CEO Marco A. Davis joined a current CHCI fellow and 2 CHCI alumni on the main stage at the College Board’s 2026 Prepárate conference for an important conversation on investing in the next generation of Latino leaders. From addressing the barriers students face in accessing opportunity to the role institutions play in supporting long-term success, Marco and the panelists brought both insight and urgency to the discussion. Proud to have the CHCI mission and voice represented in spaces where it matters most.
