As part of our Associate Programme, we’re excited to welcome (RE)Materialised to 198 CAL — a group show where 13 designers reimagine materiality through heritage, activism and innovation.

(RE)Materialised brings together experimental approaches to making and sustainability across textiles, craft and design. Expect bold material explorations, fresh perspectives, and a celebration of process as each designer pushes at the boundaries of what materials can communicate.

Our Associate Programme supports projects, events and exhibitions by external artists, curators or organisations, hosted and/or supported by 198, that sit outside of our core programme.
Charlotte’s works are composed of mundane materials that she finds and collects. The unpredictability of these materials drives her creativity, as she draws much of her inspiration from adapting to the unknown. She also doesn’t purchase any material, rejecting profit driven consumerism. Her pieces are soft acts of resistance, where agency is claimed through making, and the potential of overlooked materials is celebrated through creativity.
