Must try iconic Taiwanese street food stall in Ximending, Taiwan.
Ay Chung Flour Rice Noodles!
Have you tried meesua before? This Taiwanese rice vermicelli is silky smooth and comes in a rich, thick broth made with bonito flakes.
It’s topped with soft chewy pork intestines, cilantro, and you can add chili, garlic, and vinegar.
It’s been Michelin recommended before, and the line can get long but it moves very fast!
To me, it’s delicious and comforting (and something I grew up eating), and I highly recommend trying it at least once if you travel to Taiwan!
They ONLY serve this dish, and your choice will be either a small or big bowl (65 NTD or 80 NTD as of last year ~$2 to less than $3 USD ).

This is Ji Rong Peking Duck, and they serve an amazing roasted Peking duck as well as other delicious Chinese dishes.
I haven’t had a bad meal here, and every dish here is pretty solid! Some of my other favorites are the honey walnut shrimp (the shrimp is always plump and perfectly crispy), pea sprouts, French style beef.
They also have new signature dishes like lamb and Sichuan spicy cold chicken.

This coffee shop @bevelcoffee started off as a pop-up and mobile espresso bar and is now a brick and mortar!
They’re a specialty coffee roaster, sourcing and roasting their own beans.
The coffee is good, and they have some great options like the Queen Bee, which uses local raw honey, or the lavender latte.
They also have classic coffee, pastries and bagels.

At @deluxe_1717 , you’ll find new American food inspired with Cuban roots and a focus on fresh food.
The chef uses fresh produce from a local micro farm, and the food here is delicious.
Their Cuban sandwich, buttery biscuits, vegan nachos, and cauliflower quiche are all tasty and worth checking out!
Plus they have a cute patio and a robust wine selection.
