New in Rentals: OConnor 120EX Fluid Head
We’ve been seeing a lot of bigger camera builds and longer telephotos going out this year. While an OConnor 2575 can handle most camera builds, sometimes extra stability on a long lens or effortless balance on a big lens like the Angenieux Optimo Ultra 12x is needed.

The 120EX has a weight capacity of 30-240lbs, is marginally larger in size and only 7.5lbs heavier than a 2575.

This should have been in our inventory years ago.
There is no other lens like it. 20x zoom range, light weight and yet razor sharp across the whole zoom range. Even with the 1.5x extender the image seems uncompromised.
The lens covers up to Alexa 35 Open Gate. With the 1.5x extender it covers full frame.
Made for sports, live events and natural history ( and crazy crash zooms! )

Every so often we like remind everyone about our Lens Sensor Coverage Charts.
We consider them to be the most useful and up to date charts for fast and accurate information.
The charts only reflects lens cropping/ vignetting. That is any obstruction to the image that increases as a lens is stopped down.
As opposed to lens fall off which mostly diminishes as a lens is stopped down.
Also by looking at the camera formats grouped by image circle, you can determine a lot of other information.
1. Is there a wider lens available with only minimal vignetting?
2. How do other camera formats sensor sizes compare? Helpful if shooting multiple cameras etc.
3. What focal lengths of S35 lens sets cover FF formats? (Ultra Primes always surprise!)
4. If your camera format is not included but you know the image circle, just scroll to correct size.
The charts reflects our lens inventory. That’s because every entry has been confirmed by eye.

These lenses got our attention immediately. We had nothing like them in rental.
Full Frame, Compact, Parfocal and at a very affordable price.
Straight up these are not classic vintage looking anamorphics.
They have a bokeh that could be mistaken for a spherical vintage lens.
With a sharpness that makes them a good candidate for 16:9 projects. Especially interviews when you want something ‘more’ than an EZ Zoom!
The Amber flares when subtle give a warm wash over the image shadow details.
When pushed the flares scream anamorphic.
Stop is T4.5. But in Full Frame it’s still shallow depth.
Any faster and these would be much bigger and much more expensive.

It’s a big deal to have E-Mount adapters for the Nikon Z mount. Before now E-Mount lenses have never been on Red cameras. The flexibility of lens choices it brings for DP’s is huge.
We received our first Red One 4K cameras 17yrs ago. Before that having a Super 35mm sensor for a video camera was pretty much unimaginable. Today we now have a full frame camera, with 6K resolution, that fits in the palm of your hand, for what was the price of the original LCD monitor for the Red One camera!

New in Rentals- Red V-Raptor XE with Nikon Z Mount.
We’re excited to add the new Red V-Raptor XE to inventory, but even more excited for the Nikon Z-Mount.
The Nikon Z mount flange depth is 16mm. Shallower than any other mount available.
This gives it the flexibility to adapt to Sony E-Mount, something that the Canon RF mount doesnt allow.
We have so many great lenses in E-Mount, this is a big deal.
Additionally we have added Nikon Z to Canon EF, PL and LPL adapters to our inventory.
