May 2nd was the day to be in the woods.
First spring chasing birds with @charles_therrien424 , and patience was the key. The woods stayed dead silent all morning, but we refused to quit. We changed the plan, stayed locked in, and the second that first gobbler fired off, everything happened fast.

Coming all the way from Quebec, fishing in British Columbia has always been a dream and it did not disappoint. With the help of our amazing guide , we landed some true giants, including a 7’2”, ~200 lb prehistoric beast. The power of these fish is unreal.
The white sturgeon has been swimming in these waters for millions of years. Catching and releasing them, knowing they might live over a century, is something special , something humbling.
This wasn’t just a fishing trip it was an experience we’ll carry forever.

A hunt I will remember.
I had the chance to harvest this beautiful black bear at 15 meters on the ground, with my buddy @kevbreton filming the whole hunt.
It was an honor to hunt with this rifle a Winchester Model 1895. At 126 years old, it still got the job done beautifully. I absolutely loved using the .303 British.🐻🌲
