/// Silver surfer 🏄♂️
A massive thank you to James for bringing his immaculate R33 out on a very sunny day back in July, it was an absolute pleasure to shoot such a machine! @that_oem_s14

After seeing photos and videos of status over social media for the last couple years I was finally able to make the trip to Melbourne for the weekend to experience it for myself. The event exceeded my expectations, in all senses; from the cars to the venue and the music. You’d be hard pressed to find anything like it here in NZ. I would definitely recommend going if you are able to.
It was good to put faces to names, meeting up with internet friends and making new ones. I cannot thank @tashf33n enough for lending me his sd card, without which I wouldn’t have got any of these photos.
Overall a fantastic event, I hope to go next year.

(Sorry these are a month late)
My first daytime rollers, quite pleased with them. Massive thanks to @scott_arvidsonz for coming out for the shoot at the last minute.

/// Doubtless the cleanest example of a 180sx that I could ever hope to encounter
I am extremely grateful to @180sx_yw for agreeing to bring his 180 out to get a few photos back in April. Not only does Hong Kong have many high end Supercars, there are examples of immaculate JDM cars as well; such as this one!

/// A night to remember
On my last night in NZ before heading overseas back in April, @koba_evolutionvii agreed to come out for a bit of a night shoot along with @180sx_mochi . Both cars looked amazing and it was a great send off. Massive thank you to everyone involved!
*sorry these photos took so long
/// Melbourne scenes Pt.2/4; A small Status pre meet at Oz ekarts.
I’ve finally got round to posting some more photos from Melbourne back in September. I have to admit I was definitely not expecting the quality of cars that were there — a good representation of quality over quantity.
/// Melbourne scenes Pt.1/4; A brief visit to Ferrari Melbourne.
In the lead up to the trip back in September, I never really considered visiting any of the dealerships, however after seeing photos and videos online of both the F40 & F50 on display, it became obvious that it would definitely be worth making the trip. In New Zealand, the chances of seeing one of these is low, let alone two of them, together. The upstairs provided a lot to be excited about as well, with there being a nice selection of 2000’s Ferraris alongside some of the best on offer from other manufacturers. I’d highly recommend a visit if you ever find yourself in Melbourne.
