I had the chance to headline and really tap back into that Wounded Soldier energy, bringing Heir to the Wounds to life while mixing in the classics that built me. Every moment meant something. Chasing Stars Entertainment proudly presents : Girls Night💫 This is more than an event. This is a space built for connection, creativity, and real opportunity. June 14th from 4PM to 6PM at StudioCor3 in Grand Rapids, we’re bringing together women from across Michigan for an intentional creative experience. Expect free photoshoots with CSE creatives, genuine networking, music, light refreshments, and lunch provided by CSE, all within an environment designed to help you step into your artistry with confidence. After 6PM, we transition into a live music video experience, where attendees are encouraged to stay and be part of the moment as everything comes to life. The energy, the visuals, the message all tying back to celebrating and uplifting women who are building something of their own. This marks Chasing Stars Entertainment’s first step into the creative space in this way, and we’re doing it with purpose. This night is dedicated to highlighting and celebrating hardworking women in the creative industry and creating a platform where you can be seen, supported, and connected. Chasing Stars Entertainment witnessed a moment that will live with us forever. A sold out crowd, artists pouring their hearts onto the stage, and a room full of people celebrating music, creativity, and the power of community. The energy in that building was undeniable and we’re still feeling the love from it. First and foremost, we want to give a huge thank you to @olddogtavern for believing in the vision and opening your doors to us. Being able to host the first hip hop led show in that room in over a decade is something we will never take lightly. Thank you for trusting us with that moment. To our VIP guests, thank you for showing up, supporting the artists, and taking the time to connect with the movement. Your presence helped make the night even more meaningful and we’re grateful you shared that space with us. To the incredible artists who performed, you represented Kalamazoo’s best in the most powerful way possible. Every set brought a different energy and every artist reminded us just how much talent this city holds. Watching you all shine on that stage was something we will never forget. And most importantly, thank you to the amazing community of Kalamazoo. The crowd, the cheers, the conversations, the support, the love. That’s what made the night what it was. Seeing so many people come together to celebrate creativity and collaboration reminded us exactly why we do this. This is a moment that nobody can take away from us. We are incredibly proud to share it with this city and with the community that continues to support and uplift the arts here in Kalamazoo. This night was a celebration of talent, unity, and the future of our music scene, and we are just getting started. We want to take a moment to show appreciation to @kiingken , the Chief Operating Officer of @chasingstarshq and the showrunner for the Wounded Soldier Pop Up. While the crowd experienced the energy of the night, Ken was working behind the scenes making sure every piece of the show ran the way it was supposed to. From organizing the flow of the event to keeping the team aligned and focused, his leadership played a major role in bringing the vision to life. Great nights like this do not happen without people who are willing to put the work in when no one is watching. Ken continues to show what real leadership and dedication to the movement looks like. Kalamazoo… thank you. The Wounded Soldier Pop Up was a sold out night that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. What we experienced together was bigger than a show. It was a moment of community, resilience, and belief. To every artist who stepped on that stage and brought their heart with them, thank you. The respect from my peers means more to me than words could ever explain. Watching each of you pour your soul into your craft reminded me why we do this in the first place. To the city of Kalamazoo, thank you for believing in this vision and believing in me. This night proved something powerful… nobody heals alone. Every cheer, every conversation, every connection in that room reminded me that healing and growth happen together. To my incredible team at @chasingstarshq , thank you for standing beside me through every step of this journey. Your belief, your work ethic, and your loyalty are the foundation of everything we are building. This movement would not exist without you. And to my foundation… the people who held me up when things felt impossible… thank you for never letting me forget who I am. This moment didn’t happen overnight. It came after years of rejection, failure, self doubt, relapse, falling down, getting back up, and failing again. There were times when the dream felt further away than ever. But I kept moving. I kept believing. I kept fighting. And now… after all those years of battle… it’s finally my time. And I’m not going anywhere. More moments are coming. More memories are coming. More victories are coming. Thank you for being part of this one 💫
