“lights, camera, action” is the title of my new EP, it’s coming out on august 22nd! there’s a really big difference between the project i intended to write, and the one that came out of me. it’s loud, it’s honest, and it’s (at times, embarrassingly) vulnerable. from feeling strange about my cellphone, to falling in love - this project, like most of my music, is a collection of songs that are just snapshots of strong feelings.

i took a lot of inspiration from the music i grew up with on in this project. specifically, this certain era of music i became weirdly re-obsessed with from 2007-2009. there was a certain charm to the synth sounds that rippled through myspace, the early days of youtube, and the innocent sound of laptops and synthesizers becoming more accessible to the average artist.

the project is 5 songs, including “crash out compilation,” “saturn,” and “trainwreck.” 

i can’t wait to share the rest of these songs with you, this collection of ‘em is really special to me. thank you so much for streaming the singles! 🫰🫶
