Carmi Harris- Sheri/ Janessa Carmillia “Carmi” Harris has performed in several musicals & plays including​ Flyin’ West, A Motown Christmas, Memphis, The Wiz, Beehive The Musical, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, ​and more. She has also performed in several cabarets at venues including NYC favorites “Feinstein’s/54 Below” & “Don’t Tell Mama” and more. The vocalist, actor & model has also appeared in several short films, commercials and performances on national networks including PBS, BET, HSN and more. In 2016, Carmi debuted her first self-written & co-produced solo show ​Carmi's Playlist​ at “The Space at 2106”. Ashley Jossell - The Writer Ashley is an entertainer originally from Chicago, Illinois, currently based in Brooklyn, New York. She is a firecracker on stage who emulates pure joy, and her infectious spirit and unwavering work ethic are valuable attributes to any artistic or work environment. She is a skilled conservatory-trained actor and singer who values inclusive, creative, and collaborative projects. Ashley has a musical theater background and has trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Saint Mary’s University, and Music Academy International. She is also a member of the Actors Equity Association. Her fav credits include: Lorraine in All Shook Up, Touchstone in As You Like It and being apart of the original cast for Drunk Musicals.

Teisha Hickman - Tessa/ Mom/ Ensemble TEISHA L. HICKMAN (Tess/Mother) is excited to be making her musical debut in Chasing Grace. Teisha, a graduate from Sarah Lawrence College, is an actor/screenwriter who can be seen on shows like Law & Order Organized Crime. She’s also an alum of The Writers Lab, funded by Meryl Streep, Oprah Winfrey and Nicole Kidman. Teisha is grateful to her family and friends for their love and support, especially her mom Della Hickman who has never missed a show! She would like to thank everyone involved in Chasing Grace and SheNYC Arts Summer Theater Festival for giving space for us to be seen and heard.

Ashley DiLorenzo- Ms. Anita/ Ensemble Ashley DiLorenzo is a multihyphenate artist from Queens, NY and a current student at Northeastern University. She previously worked with Elizabeth Addison on This is Treatment as Ms. Caroline, and is thrilled to tackle something so familiar and yet so new. She made her Off-Broadway debut last Spring as an actor, co-writer, and producer with her original musical A Stormy Night at Emerging Artists Theatre. Some of her recent acting credits also include Dolokhov in Natasha, Pierre, and The Great Comet of 1812 (NUStage at Northeastern University) and Love and Information (Northeastern University). Her one-act play, Hopefully: An Ethnodrama is available for licensing through YouthPLAYS and a song she co-wrote, "Birdy-lingo" was the winner of the 2021 Musical Theatre Songwriting Challenge (National Endowment for the Arts, American Theatre Wing) and is available to stream wherever you find you music. In her free time, she volunteers with Hear Your Song, an organization that brings collaborative songwriting to kids and teens with serious illness and complex health needs. She is also a Casting intern at NBCUniversal. Thanks Mom & Dad!

Sushma Saha - Sucheta/Ensemble Broadway: 1776 at the Roundabout (Judge James Wilson, PA). Off-Broadway: Interstate at Theatre Row (Henry). Regional: 1776 at the ART (Judge James Wilson, PA), 7 Minutes with Waterwell Theater (Nicole), Girlfriend at The Drama League (Will), Interstate [world premiere at Mixed Blood Theatre, development at MCC, NYSAF, NAMT, DGF Fellows Festival, Pride Plays, & Playwrights Horizon] (Henry), The Wolves at Actors Theatre of Louisville (#46). Sushma is a queer Indian-American artist based in NYC. They are a multi-hyphenate (actor/singer/dancer/VO actor/model/songwriter) who graduated with a B.F.A. in musical theatre from Ithaca College Class of 2021. Her most recent work includes the Broadway revival of 1776 and the pre-Broadway production at American Repertory Theater in Cambridge, MA. They won “Outstanding Performance in a Leading Role” for playing Henry in Interstate at New York Musical Festival 2018. Brianna Justine - Cece/ The Black Tony Award Winner of Stage and Screen/ “Rehab The Musical” Grace Brianna Justine is thrilled to be exploring this new role with SheNYC and the Chasing Grace crew. She has spent the better part of the last year working in the cabaret scene with performances at 54 Below and Green Room 42. Some recent theater credits include Ladies Lady (Sophie/Isabel) at The Vino Theater and The Color Purple (Nettie) with Plaza Theatricals. She would like to thank her tribe and chosen family for uplifting her and keeping her afloat in this chapter of her life.
