It’s the morning of my birthday and I am now 27 years old. Wow. I’m sitting down writing this bright and early feeling excited, motivated, and inspired.
Some of you may or may not have seen a post that I made about 6 months ago explaining why I’ve been MIA for the past few years in the dance scene and where I opened up about my mental health and bad habits throughout that time. That’s something I rarely do publicity as I am a very private person but I felt like my audience should know and I hoped my story would motivate others.
Anyways, the reason I am saying all of this and sharing this 3 year old video is because this is my absolute favorite solo video representing my art of all time and it was made ironically right before I went into the darkest place I’ve ever been.
But I am proud to say that I have been doing nothing but progressing since I made that post months ago. So much, in fact, that I currently feel better and more mentally capable than I did in this video where I thought I was at my best. This just means that 27 is destined to be a year of progress, boundary breaking, and evolution for myself and the one you may know as CTut.
My only birthday request from you is to always push to get yourself out of your own dark even if it feels hopeless and to maybe just take a couple minutes of your time to watch this whole video that means so very much to me as a artist.
Other than that I thank everyone for the birthday wishes I’ve already received and of course appreciate all that I may get today 🙏🏻
