Crafted at Great Northern Distillery and blended in Belfast, Two Stacks is an independent #irishwhiskey bonder and blender collaborating with over 17 distilleries across Ireland, including Killowen, Boann, Dingle, and Echlinville, showcasing the diversity of modern Irish whiskey.
🪵 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗕𝗟𝗘𝗡𝗗: 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦 & 𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗞𝗦:
• 40% Dark Grain (Virgin Oak)
• 40% Light Grain (Bourbon)
• 8% Pot Still (Oloroso Sherry)
• 10% Double Malt (Bourbon Casks)
• 2% Peated Malt (Bourbon Casks)
👅 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗧𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗘 (𝗪𝗲𝗯𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀):
• Nose: Honey, vanilla, toasted oak, and a touch of citrus
• Palate: Smooth and balanced with caramel, spice, and dried fruit
• Finish: Light, clean, and slightly sweet
🍺 𝗣𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝘂𝘁: Although I typically gravitate toward higher proof whiskeys, this light, fruity, sweet and spicy 86 proofer is a perfect companion to the robust, chocolatey, and velvety stout. The stout delivers richness and bitterness, while the whiskey adds sweetness and warmth, creating a balanced, easy-drinking combo.
