What can I say about this one…
It’s been a challenging couple of months when it comes to my fishing. Between the spring flush and working in horticulture this time of year is full on and balancing that with family life doesn’t always leave much room for fishing. Most weeks I’m limited to a quick overnighter after work.
But if anything that’s only pushed me more. Early mornings before work walking the lake quietly introducing bait to a few spots and staying consistent it all adds up. It’s not always easy but moments like this make every bit of effort worth it.
This one means a lot. One of the originals from Chase Front Pit a proper park lake banger! I was honestly lost for words when I was given the honour of naming it after my Dad.

They are finally waking up over on the front lake 💪🏻 one of the larger residents of the lake a old dinosaur named Mary graced Reece’s net at an eye watering 47lb on the morning he was packing up and what a reward it was 😍 well done Reece a great achievement and a massive PB to beat 💎
