I know tea is just a beverage, but over the last two years it’s become an all around obsession, a real passion, a hobby, a lifestyle, a comfort, and has caused a true and undeniable shift in my life for the better. I know that’s very dramatic to say about a beverage. I get it. And I could ramble on the specifics but it’s really about the ambition it’s brought out of me. The joy and creativity that it’s… well… for lack of a better word, quenched.
Some of you know, most of you don’t, but for the last year my little side hustle/artistic outlet/passion project has become a reality and I can’t wait for you to check it out.
@planet.heycha is open for biz! 🪐 enamel pins, tea logs, stickers, oh my!
Cheers to 2am nights working on my 300th color alt on a logo idea that went nowhere, the early mornings spent incessantly moving a tabletop lighting kit around for an hour until my iPhone camera picked up the right shade of green, and don’t forget the tea. The gallons and gallons of tea that kept me sane throughout the whole process (shout out to iced tea for those 90 degree days in my office with no AC) - another shout out to
@torybn (
@nitedesk ) for the insanely perfect website and
@markedanimation for being a real one with that sweet, sweet logo animation.
So anyways, I’m drafting this at 1:39am after finessing tax compliance settings on Shopify for the last 3 hours, and my mind is melting. But still completely grateful for everything.
