🌍 London Climate Action Week was nothing short of extraordinary. Attending various events and meeting potential investors and partners through the @EarthshotPrize opened doors to incredible opportunities.
At the end of the week, I had the honor of speaking at the Stories of Impact event alongside other @EarthshotPrize finalists, the CEO @hannahceri , trustee Tokunboh Ishmael, sustainable fashion pioneer @stellamccartney@mikebloomberg and HRH Prince William . As I stepped off the stage, I felt immense pride in the work we do at @MukuruCleanStoves and deep gratitude for the opportunities afforded to us as an organization and me as an individual. I am excited to see all the Earthshot solutions this November in Cape Town, especially the ones coming out of Africa.
Every time I have the privilege of meeting and speaking with HRH Prince William, he asks for two things: updates and needs for the next phase. As an entrepreneur with ambitions for continental impact, I have always asked for more resources and prepared myself for when I have access to them. Often, I have wondered if I was asking for too much or being too ambitious, so when HRH Prince William said he was proud of the work we do, of me, and lightly mentioned that I am the "Queen of Africa“, I felt a renewed sense of Ambition!
I am acutely aware of the unique privilege I hold and feel grateful every day for these opportunities 💚
This article is a reflection of what I’ve seen on the ground - that the most powerful innovations don’t always look high tech, but they can change everything.
When you center women, design for real people and the planet, and commit to adoption and sustained usage, impact stops being theoretical.
It becomes inevitable!

Sometimes the story is in the work.
Sometimes it’s in the woman behind it.
This is both!
From building in overlooked communities to shaping global conversations.

Honored to be named a 2026 YGL Aliko Dangote Fellow!
To be recognized by someone who has built Africa through manufacturing, not just words, means everything.
This is for the builders.
The ones turning local solutions into continental industries.
We’re not just imagining Africa’s future, we are manufacturing it!
