Pink Rock, 2025
80 x 80 cm mixed media
I’ve been obsessively collecting images of patterns within rocks which has informed my new painting. This painting took a while to finish with many layers of paint, I let the textures I created form the painting, working into places that needed more depth. I’m really happy with how it turned out
Horizon 2026
123 x 92 cm
Mixed media
This was all about learning to trust intuitive creation - having an idea in mind, but then responding to the materials and adapting to how the paint behaves.
The plan is for this to be the first of a series of paintings in this vein

Blue horizon 2026
123 x 92 cm
Mixed media
The second of the series of horizons, this one was a challenge, it’s funny that the first one took a few days and this took a few weeks of reworking till I was happy, gotta trust in the process 😅 but happy with how it’s come out
LOVING the change in the weather for my studio time. First time this year not wearing thermal leggings. May have not had the most productive day - spent an hour staring at 3 box fresh canvases deciding if a tryptic was a possibility, then thought I’d sleep on it. Enjoyed slowing down, a gentle tidy, packing of my kit for a job on Monday then came home and hung my first framed painting!
Oh and unpacked a lovely new vintage stippler - new obsession second hand scenic brushes on eBay!!!
