Forever injecting bits of colour into the studio 🌈 Yes, it’s part of my brand and general vibe, but there’s also a deeper reason for it. Walking into a space that is colourful feels fun & playful, and therefore relaxed. If my clients walk in and feel comfortable, they immediately have permission to be themselves. Shooting these three characters for @williamburns25 was such a breeze thanks to the legend that he is! I’ve photographed him across numerous performances over the years and his work is truly a joy to witness. These images represent three separate shows that he’s performing across three consecutive weeks (WILD) to fundraise for creating a new show. This is such a fun way to support the arts AND have a great night out at the same time - I highly recommend getting along to as many of them as you can. Pink bands ARE BACK as of today! Beyond grateful to have been gifted a pair from the team, to add to my collection of everyday things I have in pink 😂💝 It was an absolute pleasure to shoot for this project for a second time (the first in 2024!). I grew up on a small farm in North Canterbury, and I know that 13 year old Charlie would have LIVED in these bad boys! Perfect for anyone that likes their gumboots with a little bit of pizazz ✨

Commercial holidays centred around one particular person can bring up a LOT of feelings, particularly if you have a situation that feels different to the norm. Sometimes it feels like the elephant in the room… I feel this way about Mother’s Day! We lost our beautiful Mum a few years ago, and this season always brings up some emotions for me. But! This is the very reason I’m excited about providing these Mother’s Day sessions; it’s a chance to create memories for YOU with a woman that you love and appreciate. We’re not just taking photos, we’re creating moments that you will treasure 🥹🥰💕 It doesn’t have to be your Mum; it could be siblings, grandma, that woman you call Aunty even though she’s not actually related… Or maybe it’s you and your partner and your new baby!
