5 years ago today Alison stepped off a Grayhound bus in Richmond VA for the first time. After a few short weeks of talking I decided to roll the dice and invite her on a beach trip with some friends of mine. These are the first few pictures we ever took together.
We spent the next two weeks between the Outer Banks, Richmond, and Baltimore. What anyone would have thought might be a short lived summer fling very quickly turned into something unexpected and deep. I couldn't leave Baltimore without asking her to be my girlfriend.
Five years later we're stronger than ever, living in our beautiful apartment with our two cats, and are engaged to be wed.
I'd say we'd be surprised if you told us then but I think we always knew
