Can’t help feeling like a princess in this dress 💖👑
Truthfully I felt a little shy during this photoshoot but once I put on this fluffy pink dress and heels, my personality was able to come through ☺️ this is something that we can bring into our daily lives with the fashion choices we make. Personal style doesn’t have to be what’s trendy, but what makes you feel good and let’s your personality shine ✨
Two creatives wrote, directed, and shot a four minute spec film for Uber Eats.
Meet Charlie Gillette and Yuuki Shimizu, the creatives behind “Tadaima.”
Tadaima follows a long distance relationship between a ballet dancer in New York and her partner in Tokyo, and how a food delivery app becomes a bridge across the ocean. The ad is beautiful. The story inside the ad is incredible. The story behind how they made it is what truly impressed me, though.
They brought their friends together, film school classmates flew to Tokyo as producers and crew, and a local Tokyo producer built a Japanese crew that had never worked with or even met Charlie before. The two leads, who play a couple, did not meet in person until the final scene. When the costumes got stolen the night before day one, a friend hand-stoned a new leotard overnight so the shoot could happen in the morning.
This is such a good example of Getting Things Done. When you have a vision, you can make it happen. You can sell the idea to others, and get the help you need. Charlie and Yuuki have shown what is possible when you stop waiting for permission to do something. Just do it. This is why Student Sunday is here, and huge props to them both on this project. And can’t forget the crew. Full credits in the comments below

Let’s work together on something amazing!
I’ve been directing so much recently but I also act! I would love to get in front of the camera some more this year ❤️🔥

Here’s a few storyboards I did for Tadaima (ただいま) an @ubereats story.
Thank you so much @yuukishimi.zu and @charkable for giving me the chance to be a part of this beautiful project!! Can confirm first hand that long-distance relationships suck, so I’m happy to contribute to this heartwarming love story that also affirms that 🫶

I haven’t shot anything on a 16mm Bolex camera since college and it felt so good! A few really talented people came together to make this little fashion film and I can’t thank them enough for running around the city with me. It was an absolute joy! (And so fun to be stopped by curious New Yorkers who were interested in the camera haha) 🎞️ @kodak_shootfilm - 16mm VISION3 50D 7203
