Travelling around London’s queer scene, Sxc Scraps runs a pop-up ‘Customisation Station’ - where you can live commission & upcycle your own slogan tees, ties, or other garments. You may have spotted them at Riposte, Riot, Sapphoes, and now you’ll see them at the Charje Exhibit & Art Market! How it works? 1. CHOOSE YOUR GARMZ Shirts, skirts, trousers, CLEAN underwear or more! Ties & denim for patches provided by Sxc Scraps, or choose clothing from the fuck fast fashion store, loads of £1 options! Sustainable and thrifty! (Or bring your own garmz from home that need spicing up!) 2. Select a Slogan & Add-ons, and a budget/level of yassification SLOGANS: Choose a slogan from the holy Sxc Scraps inspiration book, pre-designed flash book of slogans, or create your own! The only limitations are your imagination…literally, if you can spell it, they can sew it onto something. Then select letters from their fabric alphabet (cut off old band tees, graduation hoodies, corporate event merch etc, think Year 6 Leavers… Lads Tour Ibiza 2018… no one is buying these from the charity shop…) ADD ONS: eyelets, studs, chains, hardware ⛓️🗡️ rhinestones, buttons, beads ✨🪡 frills, tassels, lace 🐇 patches: hand-stamped scissoring scissors, snails, frogs, cats and more! 🐸✂️ 3. Last month Charje Worldwide took over @distillery.n17 with ‘Sea Bxtch’ in collaboration with @feeldco , creating an underwater themed art rave experience for the flinta community to form connections. The event featured a flinta mix and mingle, hosted by @femmibitch69 as well as live interdisciplinary arts performances throughout the night including drag from @elizanelso , ethereal live music from @nymphie.mp3 and ongoing live painting by @pdaglue as well as a flinta mini makers market to browse whilst DJs @simone_francesca_murphy , @lizaza___ , @ac_dot_robot , @desiludildo , @techno_blondy (Paris) and Charje founder @sidthesciencebxtch had us grooving to hardcore and techno.
