Charity Kill on @eastvillageradio is back for a Sunday night double-header. First up, on April 12th, I am joined by the wildly talented and truly hilarious Marina F of Observation Room ✨✨✨ @dyatlov_yass Then back back back again on April 19th, spinning you new faves and old 💖 Marina F is a Queens-based musician, DJ, educator, and ex-boatbuilder. She is interested in the sonic artifacts of Cold-War culture, the intersections of synth-pop and Thatcher, neoliberalism and 80’s pop, the Years of Lead and Italo-Disco, and military technology and early synthesizers. Her DJ sets mine the outer edges of the world of electronic pop, focusing on the strange, political, and playful. She is also half of the synth-pop duo Observation Room, whose debut EP was released in 2025 by A La Carte Records.
