Stalking, adapting, preying, perfecting. The golden tracks left in the snow on Dragonspine had a familiar shoe print. And he made his way to Mondstadt City to begin anew.|| I'm actually uploading something spooky during spooky season!! And it's my most anticipated piece for the Critical Damage series no less. My initial idea for Albedo was to have him be executed by the knights for endangering Mondstadt, and then I changed it to him being executed after being framed by Subject Two. And then I just went all in on the idea of Subject Two becoming the perfect copy and overpowering Albedo in order to replace him (inspired by this song). But for a moment there it really looked like hoyoverse was spying on me for the plot to the paralogism quest hmm... Doodle Dump [3] Pony versions of mine and @jamescrossman007 's ocs! Locked in yesterday and this has been one of the most useful exercises for understanding my ocs because I had to explore their themes, self-perception, role in the story etc. to decide their cutie mark and such! I definitely directed most of my efforts towards Rumble Hoof's (Luke) design because I know him the most in depth. Trust me, you don't wanna hear me yap about the symbolism of chains, I will drone on. I gave Luke's design a red variant (last slide) because I was being indecisive. The rest of the designs do have a lot of thought put into them but I was much more playful about it. Doodle Dump [2] Reads from left-->right Luke and Danny have very different reactions to their first encounter + a few doodles at the end. This is my first proper comic, and it's very far from perfect. But I'm really proud that I tried it and completed it all in two weeks! You can finally meet my ocs, and I can finally check something off my goals for this year. I definitely want to make more btw, I felt very in my element. Though next time I should probably write the script out beforehand and do thumbnails... This one really was intended to be more sketchy and experimental. ignore that the art gets cleaner over the course of the comic and that the character aren't always on model, I'm still learning to draw them consistently. #ocart #occomic #originalcharacter #boyslove #blcomic

Doodle Dump [1] Okay, I'm being a bit experimental here so just hear me out! my plans for this year are very project heavy and that's to challenge myself to approach and complete harder ideas, benefitting my confidence as a creative. I neglected to think about how I yearn for standalone illustrations, and I wanna get my ideas out faster and looser, so sketching in-between projects is the best compromise I've got! I'm focusing less on perfection (still learning) and more on experimentation and just getting these ideas out of my head so I don't go insane. this is all of my work for this week.
