Another home with subtle orange! 🧡 We chose a bright, clear palette for this client’s family room in Nantucket, and we love how it feels both comfortable and elegant. Our favorite piece is the tête-à-tête, upholstered in a rich brown wool. It’s an antique we sourced from @susanhornantiques and love how it can floats around the room to accommodate any group or gathering.

We incorporated soft greens, blues, and taupes throughout this home, and the palette looks especially beautiful alongside the aged parquet floors and storied antiques. We love how heritage colors, collected pieces, and a little patina can make a new‑build home feel as though it already has a story to tell.

We all love a beautiful bedroom, but what’s even better is one that’s functional and supremely comfortable. Lined drapes that truly block the light. A bench at the end of the bed for putting on shoes or setting luggage while packing. Nightstands with drawers — not open shelves — so all the essentials can be tucked away: remotes, glasses or contacts, tissues, sleep masks, journals. And of course, luxury bedding that ensures you sleep like royalty. 😌

It’s such a wonderful experience to design a home alongside a talented landscape architecture firm. When the exterior is given the same level of intention as the interiors, the entire project rises. We carried soft greens throughout our client’s apartment in New York City — pale green grasscloth on the walls, tailored upholstery, painted kitchen cabinets, even the monogram on the bathroom towels. Green is one of the most calming colors we can bring into a home because it signals nature and harmony. It felt like the natural choice for creating a peaceful retreat in the middle of such a busy city.

We love when clients have collections — antique blue-and-white porcelain, vintage brass candlesticks, cookbooks from every country they’ve traveled to. Whatever it is, it’s meaningful to them, and we want to give it prominence.
This client collects antique paintings of sailboats. They are absolutely beautiful. Full of rich blues, warm oranges, rusts, and all surrounded by antique wood or gilt frames. We pulled that palette through the entire room, letting the collection set the tone for everything around it. ✨🧡🌊
