I titled one of my poems from the Book 'What's love got to do with it?'
•
This was me genuinely questioning whether falling in love wasn't the stupidest thing one could ever do. I start by saying 'I hated love, because of him, because of her'..because of what they made of it.
•
It took me years to see and understand that love, real love wasn't an 'it'. Love was a person. Jesus.
•
The more I began to fall in love with Him, the more I began to trust love again. Because now, it wasn't what anyone had done or didn't do. My focus was now on the one, that with one act of love, saved me and changed my world. And this He can do for you too.
•
Trust Love again.
Trust God again.

"when I call to remembrance the genuine faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded is in you also."
II Timothy 1:5 NKJV
•
Eventhough I can count on my two hands how many times I've seen her, I can say that my joy of flying to the motherland was full, because I knew I would finally meet her again. The joy with which she would shout my full ghanaian name (cause we know they can't pronounce our "br)fo din") and run to hug me, will be unforgettable.
•
This is not a homage to someone that has died. But to someone that has lived life well and continously lives. It is a testimony of me seeing how someone has lived a life full of days and most importantly someone, that has made God their priority especially in situations where others would have easily turned to other God's and things or loose their faith.
•
I'm celebrating her today because when I read this word in Timothy, my heart was similing and I understood that my Grandmother passed on the greatest legacy one could ever inherit. And that is her faith in Christ Jesus. As I've seen in her, I see in my mum and I pray that one day my children can see and say this of me too. I pray that one day they will live in the greatest inheritance possible - A legacy of faith.

Johannes 3:16-17 SCH2000
•
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
John 3:16-17 NKJV
