Here’s a clip of my riq solo on @hankshih09 piece “Bounce”. It was really great to play with such talented high level musicians that really pushed me, and so I went for some ideas and phrases that were at my limit. While it wasn’t a perfect solo in many aspects, I’m really proud of how far my improvised soloing has come. Especially, huge appreciation thanks to my riq teacher @yshai.afterman who has changed my whole way of composing and improvising 🙏⚡️
