Starting off the match with a 0.10 split on stage 4 😵💫 today was for verifying some structural and mobility changes I’ve been experimenting with recently after class with
@hkimshooting and talking with
@mason_lane_shooting
Some minor technique changes with multiple major effects. Turns out that on a Shadow 2 with thin flat panels I prefer to float my firing hand thumb instead of indexing on the safety to prevent the hands from fighting over grip real estate, apply correct pressures, and prevent slide bite. This also changes how I engage my wrists
Specifically relaxing the teres and upper lats and giving the midsection more mobility has unlocked another level of transition speed and precision without sacrificing anything else. My visual perception of speed and time has also changed because of it
Some 2Alpha energy from
@makereadynutrition and a stick of Korean red ginseng honey is now my pre-match killer combo (thank you
@brandon_is_nguyening and Kassi 😃)
Stage 2 looks really familiar if anyone has competed in Louisiana 👀
@mauswerx absolutely cooked on stage 1 🤌🏼🤌🏼 fun design. Definitely needed more confirmation 🤣
Really happy with getting the sights up at the start of stage 5. Got sucked into the final port though :(
Stage 3 was a fun speed shoot that I got a bit too eager on 🤣
@challengetargets makes a fantastic clamshell design that is super easy and intuitive to reset. The poppers are the same way as well
