Wayne Ferguson, master piano technician, is performing open heart surgery on our Yamaha C3. In Japan, they call it a total reset, back to factory standards. This includes cleaning , total inspection, and assessing the tonal qualities of the piano with the goal of bringing the piano back to original factory voicing. This is the first time it has been done in over 50 years, when we purchased it. A Grand regulation, indeed!
It was great to have these music industry veterans, Phil Manning and Phil Snowden, up for a visit to listen to some new mixes of tracks that were recorded here on the 2-inch machine back in the late eighties.

We are saddened to hear of the passing of Graham Greene. He came to the Chalet back in 1997 to narrate the documentary 'Our Neighbors the Narragansetts' with producer Robert Rose. He was a funny and kind man. We all liked him instantly. RIP Graham... Thank you for sharing your gifts and for being such a great inspiration to so many. 💖
