We designed around feel first with this one and focused on materiality and contrast - cool tile with warm Shou Sugi Ban, matte against gloss, light against dark. We don’t usually introduce skylights in our creations, but this time the order was inward reflection - we wanted a way to bring in natural light without any eye level windows. Feels like we might have gotten it just right.
Quiet contrast, thoughtful texture, and just enough drama. This is the kind of space you never want to leave.
More of this home, Chester, on our website.
A look inside Greymoor, our recently completed home, where winter quietly unfolds beyond the windows. Perched on a hill above the confluence of two creeks, we had the pleasure of spending a few snowy days getting the home ready for a young family to enjoy for many seasons to come. We’re excited to see the rest of the layers come together and watch Greymoor blossom.
A cold day like today has us dreaming of sitting beneath the cottonwood and enjoying some indoor-outdoor living at the recently designed Chalet Granmare, now up on our website.
A drive by of our previous Alpenglow project.
