"BUTOH TOOLS" The artistic discipline of Butoh dance utilizes a variety of unique tools to express emotional depth and connection with the body. One of these tools is the control of bodily movement, manifested in slow, sometimes rapid, and deliberate actions that allow dancers to explore inner states and hidden emotions. Another tool is dancing with the eyes, mouth, and every imaginable part of the body. Improvisation also plays a crucial role in Butoh, allowing performers to adapt to their environment and respond to internal and external stimuli In this workshop, we will provide various tools so you can investigate but through your own internal and external movements, blurring boundaries and creating a beauty that superficiality refuses to see.

Butoh dance is a dance that emerged after World War II.
For those who want to start, investigate, and understand more about this dance... Welcome. Open to the performing arts community and the general public—anyone who wishes to explore through their own movement.
