Nov 12, 2020 was the last day I didn’t go for a run. 🙅🏻♂️
The reason? “It was raining.” 🌧️
First photo is from Nov 13, 2020 - when I thought the rain was done. It wasn’t.
Now, no weather stops - snow, heat, wind, cold, downpours - I’ve done it all.
I’ve ran tired. I’ve ran sore. I’ve ran hurt. I’ve ran solo. I’ve ran with groups. I’ve ran races with 40,000. I’ve ran virtual against myself.
Thank you for being part of my journey - whether it was with your words, your miles, or even getting me to sign up for a race!
PR’s are humbling and exciting but getting new runners out there makes me just as happy.

1:28:19! A 3.5 minute PR that I just set in November!
Despite walking twice on the last stretch and starting in a corral that was slower than I expected, I had a great race and finished strong.
3 straight weeks of running great races and I have no regrets. I’m running better in my 40s than I ever did in my 20s or 30s!
Next up: @ibxrun10 in May!

This past Saturday was the @phillies 16th annual #Phillies5K - supporting Phillies Charities - having participated in most of em.
But this was my best finish - literally and figuratively: 19:23 and placing 35th out of almost 6,000!
Plus I got to be with family and friends and fellow fans.

I sham-rocked the inaugural Philly @theshamrockrun this past weekend with my 2nd best 5K ever - clocking in at 20:00 on the nose! ☘️🏃♂️
While I normally don’t do inaugural events, this was my 2nd one this year alone. Even not being Irish, I didn’t feel out of place!
I got 4.5 miles in before the race even started and then actually started off towards the back of the pack - so I did a lot of weaving in and out of people and ended up placing 41st (sorry 🤷♂️)
The only “downside” was the lack of bags or something to carry stuff home. But that’s a first world problem.
The weather held up and the crowd was fantastic. I even had a @drinkgaragebeer at 8:30…
Next up: @phillies 5K March 21st!

Not only did I finally get to meet @jalenhurts last night, but I won Event Staff Supervisor of the Year for the @philadelphiaeagles !
It was a great celebrating all Game Day Staff at @lincolnfinancialfield . We work hard from April to the end of the season, so to be honored and recognized by the full time staff is a true blessing.
As I finish my 10th season, it’s still the best part time job ever!
