Hi everyone, please help us build momentum for the McLaren Circus protest tomorrow and Sunday.
We are hoping this may be our final major circus protest, but for that to happen we need strong public numbers. Our goal is to get ๐ญ๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ผ๐ฝ๐น๐ฒ standing together peacefully to say:

If someone mistreats a dog, most people would intervene. If a child is harmed, we certainly step in. If you're feeling horror, outrage and disgust seeing that lion in that cage, it's because when we see injustice, cruelty or brutalityโwe want it to end. Itโs natural behaviour.
If you believe taking the life of an animal is wrong, then naturally youโd want others to stop. Thatโs how vegans feel in a world where billions of animals are confined, mistreated and killed. We feel helpless that nobody around us is willing to see.
So we speak up, get emotional, and ask others to stop looking away. Not to be annoying. Not out of superiority. But because we want the madness to end.
Animals have no one else fighting for them but those who choose to speak in their name. Humans can call the police, turn to NGOs, or rally the media when injustice happens. Animals have none of that. They are entirely at our mercy. They cannot protest, organize, or reason with the person about to take their life. Vegans are all they have.
So next time a vegan seems โpreachy,โ ask yourself: is it really so irritating that someone is standing up for innocent lives?

On Earth Day, Beauty Without Cruelty stood outside Woolworths Head Office with a clear message:
Pigs are not commodities. They are intelligent, sentient beings who deserve protection from fear, distress, and suffering.
Woolworths speaks of the Five Freedoms, yet serious concerns remain around pig gassing in the pork supply chain. If animals experience fear, panic, and distress before unconsciousness, the public has every right to ask:
