Wandered over to Good Mother Gallery in my West Adams neighborhood and got to meet amazing fx artist/sculptor Gabe Bartalos, who has made awesome fx for movies such as Brain Damage, Frankenhooker, Destroy All Neighbors, Skinned Deep, Bad Biology, Deadly Spawn. He's got an art gallery opening tomorrow night and I stumbled in and got a sneak peek. You should absolutely go check out his incredible work.
