This conference sang to me.
Sometimes God allows Himself to be known through a whisper. Sometimes through a moment, a miracle, a person or a song. Like most, I resonate deeply with music, but what stayed with me this week wasn’t a specific song. It was the melody and harmony that emerge when people come together under God.
Scripture shows that music is often a response to recognizing God’s nearness and His work (Ps. 98). Creation has always been singing back to its Creator. The sound is already there… we just have to be willing to hear it.
Unity is costly. Blessing often goes unreached because the climb toward it feels heavier than settling for what’s comfortable. But when people choose to move together, something forms that couldn’t exist any other way (Ps. 133).
This Conference didn’t feel like the result of one year of prayer and planning. It felt like years of faith, work, pain, joy, grief, and loss gathered into the hands of God, one season closing and another beginning.
I’m deeply grateful for our pastors, @chadveach and @juliaveach , who carry vision and favor with faith and humility; for every guest who poured out their gifts; and for our staff and volunteers who served with joy and determination. So much of what mattered most happened behind the scenes… and that’s often where God does His best work.
This conference really sang to me.
Because every harmony has a melody beneath it.
