New video is going live on YouTube at 9am. FiFine reached out to me and asked if I could make content with their product, Amplitank 6. I said sure, I can do something with it. There’s a little bit of unboxing, a little bit of mic comparison, and a few tests. This mic is made up of metal components and exudes good build quality, and it sounds great out of the box with its dynamic range which is perfect for all manner of audio recording. Check out the full video on my channel.
Happy Mother’s Day to you, my beautiful wife! Your outpouring love is like none other, thank you for being an amazing mother to Aleyna. You’re wonderful and gracious, loving and kind. May your radiant spirit and warm soul continue to embrace us with steadfast harmony.
As a Nicaraguan-born & raised Mexican-American, I’ve had the privilege of experiencing many different cultures- but Nicaragua will always be home.
There’s so much to be proud of as a Pinolera, but one of my favorite things to share with others is our food. For years, I carried a deep sense of homesickness, and La Carreta became my little piece of home here in Houston.
Join us for our summer series as I continue sharing pieces of my culture and upbringing while exchanging stories of heritage, identity, and resilience with others.
This is The Cultural Exchange

Rigging out the Fuji. This is one of my favorite rig to use when filming projects.
When I’m running and gunning, I take this exact rig out. A couple of reasons why are as follows:
1. Heavier weight stabilizes the handheld footage.
2. Power management is not an issue with the ability to power all devices with one main battery.
3. Client Perception is very strong with this setup. If you are charging money, and they see you pull up with a camera that is not rigged up, they may feel like they’re not getting their money’s worth. It’s like a handyman showing up with a hammer, I have a hammer and I would feel like I paid for the wrong handyman if that’s all he showed up with. Sometimes, you have to look the part for your clients.
Teaser for the next drop on YouTube. If you haven’t subscribed, please come and support the channel’s growth. If you think the channel is a good resource for those that are interested in jumping into the Fujifilm ecosystem, share it with them.
The Chef’s Knife - it is an all around tool that chef uses in the kitchen to get the job done. The Sigma Art 17-40mm f1.8 operates the same way for me. I can use it for both video work and photography. The best part is the internal zoom feature.
Full video will be in YouTube in a couple of days.
Releasing a new video tomorrow. I am challenging myself in releasing a new video every week. It’s not easy and requires discipline. I’m only good at one thing and that’s going hard to the paint when I got the ball. So excuse me, while I go for a layup and score another point.
This video is going to be a simple one, it’s an unboxing video of an awesome lens I picked up a while ago. The Sigma Art 17-40mm f1.8 for Fujifilm. @fujifilmx_us gotta make a response lens to this one now. How are you going to let a third-party lens manufacturer come to your mount and create a lens you should have made? An internal zoom lens with a bright aperture? Also, @sigmaphoto , this lens needs an update. Come on now, don’t stop the momentum.
The OG X100 is 15 years old but just because it’s old doesn’t mean it isn’t any good. Old tech are usually considered worthless but in the right hands, it shows its value. It is still a phenomenal photo centric camera that produces great images. Looking forward to giving it a proper review and comparison to my X100VI.
