As a 90’s skate rat, working with Harmony Korine is a dream come true. But supporting his mid-life quest to become a world-touring rave DJ is something else entirely. We’re thrilled to have produced and executed the brand launch for Harmony’s new company, EDGLRD.
After 6 months of intense work, we delivered a week-long, multifaceted activation in Japan that included:
• A retrospective film festival
• The Japanese premiere of “Aggro Dr1ft” (starring Jordi Mollà and Travis Scott)
• An exhibition and pop-up store
• A marquee screening event
• An unforgettable party featuring Two Shell, Snow Strippers, E.O.U, and the newly minted global DJ sensation himself, Harmony Korine
Huge shoutout to the brilliant team at @poweredby.tokyo for their incredible hard work and tenacity. Your dedication made this dream project a reality.

We snapped and got mad lad @doooo_cds to make a Human Flesh™ tap machine. We also made a movie about it. I’ll post that too. Here are some pictures. The team(s) worked tirelessly for months to bring this to life. A brilliant collaborative effort by the best.
One of our strategies for @jagermeister_japan is to inform and entertain new ways of enjoying the product. Let @kingmiyachi guide you toward the light. This is 1 of 2 spots we created in collaboration the 🤴 that blew up with over 4.5M views. Many more to come.
We close our 14 episode series campaign for the @nba with a bang. In this episode, Mangaka Keito Gaku, the author of “Aoba No Basuke’’ tells NBA Beat how the league inspires him in his writing, taking us through the process of his illustrations. Just like the NBA, Gaku’s stories provide glorious backdrops for tales of growth, teamwork, triumph, and tribulations. To Gaku, basketball is the ultimate vehicle for storytelling.

This entry has amassed 1.5M views in its first day of release!
The “NBA Beat” campaign consists of 14 episodes, celebrating individuality, creativity, and passion as seen through the eyes of diverse individuals of various professions including artists, entrepreneurs, musicians and community organizers based in Japan. Each person has their own personal attachment to NBA and basketball culture and uses it as a major source of inspiration and sustenance in their work.
The campaign aims to showcase the appeal of the NBA from different perspectives by encouraging each interviewee to speak freely about the role of basketball culture in their daily lives. It seeks to take the viewer beyond the realm of “basketball as a sport” and deepen their understanding of the history and growing street culture of the NBA

I Interviewed @edisonchen for @nowre magazine to commemorate @clot 20th anniversary. Edison and I grew up at the same time in the same neighborhood in Vancouver, attending rival high schools. So it was beyond a trip to connect 20 years later in Tokyo. Always a man of consistency and inspired vision, we spoke on legacy, community, and fostering the next generation 🤝 🙇‍♂️
As part of our continued effort to grow the @nba brand and culture in Japan, we had NBA’s newly appointed ambassador BTS’ @agustd and @stephencurry30 link up for a ceremonial meet and greet and gift exchange ahead of the annual NBA Games Japan. Big love to our trusted client and partner @nba . Captured by @stevegdn
Inspired by 90’s Berlin rave, NYC ballroom, Tokyo avant-garde fashion, and raw hip-hop cultures, Night Embassy was a weekend to remember. An initiative to provide a platform for creative and artistic communities from all corners of the country to express themselves freely. Thanks to the innumerable and immeasurable talent that mobilized to make it all happen. And of course to @jagermeister who let’s us create with equal amounts of trust and freedom 🙇‍♂️
Select looks from the fashion show component we produced as part of our Night Embassy takeover for @jagermeister . Was a wild weekend. A small piece of history was made.
We’ve mobilized the s-tier of Tokyo’s talent across music, art, fashion, and dance for a concept two-day takeover residency with @jagermeister_japan at @baia.shibuya on December 9th and 10th. What started in Berlin and has made its way to Moscow, Johannesburg and São Paulo, now lands in Tokyo. RSVP for free entry and other goodies. Too many to name and tag, check stories for more! From Japan to the NBA: Inside Rui Hachimura’s Journey
Part 1 of a 4 part documentary @poweredby.tokyo produced for @nba and @jumpman23 chronicling the inspiring journey of rising Japanese basketball star @rui_8mura . Chapter 1 tells the story of his humble beginnings in the quaint historical town of Toyama and the people that shaped the man he went on to become. This is part of our continued effort to grow Japan’s love affair for the game of basketball. Cheers to all involved on this challenging yet infinitely rewarding project. Always big love to our trusting clients @nba and @jumpman23 . Enjoy!
