Chabuki housing is made of 4”x4”x3/16” wall 6061 square aluminum tubing. It is cut to 8” long, the ends of the tube are routered to match the outside corners. It is then machined on all 4 sides to achieve the finished housing you see here. This housing is part of a batch that puts the total # of Chabuki mechanisms in existence to 2,440. All proudly made in Sandpoint Idaho.
2016 Latin Grammy Awards performance by Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez. This was a double drop as the scrimm needed to be dropped in to a hanging position during the performance. Once in place, the scrimm was projected on and became part of the performance. The scrimm was then dropped completely to reveal the artists in full.
Mary Kay sales meeting 2015. Multi Image Group put on this event and sought out the services of Fragoso, Inc. This was a fun one with 3 separate curtains flying away in different directions. The 2nd video shows the Stage right curtain flying towards the high speed winch. This opening moment was done on 4 separate days, as there were 4 groups of attendees during the 2 week event.

The new “Big Tex” was revealed in 2013, one day ahead of schedule due to high winds. Despite the high winds, the Chabuki system used was still able to effectively release and do its intended job. Video footage was taken by a news channel helicopter. Big Tex is a big deal in Texas…
Delta reveal event in 2007 was to announce their official emergence from bankruptcy. They celebrated by revealing a new paint scheme on one of their planes. The thought was,
