There’s a quiet anger rising in those who create in the shadows. A contained rage : the kind that comes from giving everything: time, energy, sleep, for an art that no one sees. A pressure that builds, day after day, every time honest, heartfelt work goes unnoticed.
And meanwhile, others, born with a silver spoon in their mouth, are handed opportunities on a platter. The artistic world, behind its glitter and inspiring speeches, is often a masquerade. It praises novelty, freshness, “raw talent,” but far too often, it’s connections, legacy, and social circles that decide who gets the spotlight.
It’s a suffocating injustice. How can one stay calm watching careers take off thanks to a last name or a few dinners in the right rooms? How can one not feel bitterness, realizing that for some, luxury isn’t a goal, it’s the starting point?
